…still not in the zone…

I have accomplished week three of this workout thing…I feel even more tired. I thought waking up early in the morning is suppose to feel “invigorating!” Not me…I am still dreading the sound of the alarm as it goes off at 5:40AM…My guilt partner and I figured out that it’s about a 3 miles work out of hills, hills, hills!! We do a good one hour and then I even started carrying those weight things so that my arms will get a work out as well.

When do I start to see the progress CP??? ARGHGHGH!!

It’s not getting better…

Where is my euphoria? Where is my adrenalin? Where is my self-satisfaction? Where have all my desire gone??? (you can sing this to the tune of “where have all my cowboys gone?” by Paula Cole hahaha!) I’m at 3 days into my workout and it ain’t getting better…I’m walking around like a darn cowboy who just had too much sex and my back hurts. This has got to be age and of course a painful reminder of how unfit I am. The first 25 minutes or so is actually a tranquil rolling DOWN hill type walk, the next 35 is the hill from hell…it’s pretty much an 45/60 degree incline all the way. I remember the days when this was FUN…not now…the only reason I get up at 5:40AM is because I KNOW my walking buddy is waiting on me.

So tell me CP, when does it get better??
